Can text and emails be used against you in court? It's an almost complete resounding yes. The best cause of action and the best course of action is to treat almost everything it can and will always most likely be used against you. There's instances where your social media posts, your statuses that you post, tweets or X posts now, anything that you generally, any type of communications, especially written, sometimes even verbal now because everything can be recorded can and more than likely will be used against you in court whether that be insurance defense issues as far as a personal injury or claiming alleged injuries and you're recording or posting certain things if you're claiming such and such never happened but behind closed doors you email and say other things that. You treat all written communications, any type of post, treat it you are under oath and can be used against you. That's the safest cause of action especially in this day and age when there's so much technology going around and stuff that.
