Another day on the road driving to the office getting ready for depositions

tomorrow actually in Richmond so not having to head to the office. Another

chance to answer some more questions for you guys. Question that came in was what

do I do if the insurance company... my GPS I'm going home... what do I do if the

insurance company stops responding? Well if you have a valid claim with them they

really can't stop responding. That doesn't mean they're not communicative.

That doesn't mean they're gonna avoid answering you. That doesn't mean that

they're not gonna do what they can to not have to respond to you. However at

the end of the day you know you can do the simple usual tricks that we do. You

ask for a supervisor, schedule dates and times to talk. I would put things in

writing via email. There are in Virginia there's the the insurance bureau that

you can lodge a complaint with them if they're not being responsive. So there

are various avenues. Apparently I'm just gonna make every turn one making this

video. So there are various avenues that you can go down in order to try to

elicit a response from an insurance company. But at the end of the day you're

never gonna have more power than if you have an attorney representing you. And

the insurance companies know that we don't take silence as an answer and we

don't allow them to not be communicative. And we have our own our own tools and

tricks and to prompt responses and to go to movement on your claim. So it's

always beneficial to get an attorney involved as soon as possible. And quite

frankly you don't really want to deal with insurance companies anyways. They're

a pain. They're obstructionist. They're difficult. I mean it's their MO. They just

kind of wait you out and then make you settle for pennies because they're

taking so long. So there are various things you can do on your own but I

think the strongest tool in your toolbox is getting a good attorney on your side.
