You do have many potential legal options if you are being hacked and if identity theft is being committed against you online. I will say though it depends on who you choose as an attorney to help you with this. You do want someone who's very knowledgeable in cybercrime and how tech works specifically. This is because hacking is very complex. Identity theft as well where you want people who can uncover an offender or know exactly where to look to even request evidence to tie that offender to those offenses. This is why these are some cases that come off as a lot more complex and difficult to pursue. You are going to want to document as much proof as possible. I'm talking about emails where you're getting that an account was logged in of yours through a different IP address, notifications, password changes, screenshots of your identity being used then get a lawyer to open a case or help advocate to police for you.
